Let me start by saying, you didn't fucking get Fight Club. Want me to ruin your shit with a simple sentence? It's not about anarchism. This is a great, great film that has been ruined by it's idiotic "rebellious" teenage(12-19) fanbase, and it really deserves some redemption.. Here's me; trying to explain what the point of the film really is.
I am only going to talk about one character, since he is the most misunderstood character in the last decade. Tyler Durden is an ironic character.
When we first meet Tyler, he talks about how shitty your life is and pretty much makes you feel like a worthless piece of crap. (Side note: I'm not saying you aren't.) He then proceeds to tell us how we are being controlled by the greater powers above us, and that if we ever want to get somewhere with our lives, we must suppers this greater beings. By "greater beings" not only is he referring to the government, your boss, or your parents; he is also referring to your mindless attitude. As in, how you do everything they tell you to. How you are simply a puppet. He's pointing out how you are being brainwashed. Basically, he is telling you how great life is as a self-minded anarchist who won't take shit from anyone. Up to this point, Tyler is a good guy. He's trying to make you see what the people above you don't want you to see. We understand everything 'till this point, right? Right. There's a problem though: Most people don't understand shit past this part.
Lo and behold, Tyler starts Project Mayhem. A terrorist group formed out of every-day-normal-lower-class-people. He starts recruiting others to do work for him. He tells them how to dress, how to act, what to say, and what not to say.... Is this ringing a bell?
"OMG THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT TYLER SAID HE HATED. OMGOMGOMGGOM. DOES THIS MEAN HIS AN IDIOT????"
No. It means he's an ironic character. A hypocrite. He ended up being the "greater power" he was telling you about in the beginning of the film. Tyler Durden is the antagonist of this film. You are not supposed to listen to him. Why? Because he's fucking crazy. That's why.
The point of the film is to teach you some balance between Tyler and Edward Norton. That's that. I am trying to think of a way to elaborate, but really, there's nothing to elaborate on. Anyhow, that's my own personal opinion.
Side note: it's like 7 AM. I've had no sleep in the past 24 hours, so this post might suck total dick I don't know fuck you.
AND NOW I AM GOING TO SLEEP.
WHY DID I WASTE MY TIME ON THIS.

Why Am I Even Here?
Why am I writing a blog? I don't know. Why am I using unnecessary underlining and bolding? I don't know. I just want to blog about useless shit that happens without having to carry my identity over. It'll probably only be me writing about my full-of-excitement-life. I don't expect people to read it either. It's more of a self project. Is it going to be boring? How the fuck am I supposed to know, it's only been like 3 minutes since I started it.
